With over 100 certifications, TIM Enterprise’s Data Centers stand out for their high standards in physical and logical security, business continuity, data protection, process quality, and energy efficiency.
Eight state-of-the-art data centers have achieved Uptime Tier IV and/or ANSI/TIA-942 Rating 4 certification, while six have received LEED environmental certification (five Gold and one Platinum), confirming the company’s commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.
Uptime Tier IV and ANSI/TIA-942 Rating 4 certified infrastructurese provide the highest level of availability required by standards. Thanks to redundant components and multiple, independent distribution paths, they enable scheduled maintenance to be carried out and any faults to be managed without interrupting operations, thereby ensuring service continuity.
The ANSI/TIA-942 standard is also identified by AgID as a reference for classifying Data Centers intended for public administration.
The development of this infrastructure is guided by a commitment to sustainability. TIM Enterprise Data Center Campuses have achieved LEED Gold certification (South Turin, West Turin, North Turin, West Milan and East Milan) and LEED Platinum certification (Milano Sud). Colocation and Housing
DataCenter Services (DCS)
The two DCS solutions, Colocation and Housing, allow customers to host their servers in TIM Enterprise Data Centers. Strategically located in different areas across Italy, TIM Enterprise Data Centers are interconnected through TIM’s high-speed proprietary Virtual Data Center Network (VDCN).
With Colocation solutions, customers purchase dedicated spaces with power, cooling and connectivity included, while retaining full control over the management of their IT infrastructure; Housing solutions add TIM Enterprise security and management services to those offered by Colocation solutions. By operating in a managed shared environment, customers can access value-added management services.
The portfolio also includes optional value-added services such as backup and shared storage.
